On way back from camping trip (had fun, grew a beard)
I was heading down the Gap in west QLD (steep decline)had the wobbles in the steering only when braking
Was then also doing it a little on highway when at 100ish and had to brake for corner.
Pulled into Beaurepairs, had a balance done, alignment was fine and rotors are still okay?
Am heading back into shop tomorrow to have the guys who installed rotors check it.
Any of you guys experienced similar? if so what be the cause? Have tried to find info on searches but only come up with warped rotors.
Thanks again.

What kind of pads are they?
Your rotors are not warped, but probably have small deposits from the pads on them.
Only solutions are:
1. Take it out and try to bed the pads (look it up, been covered to death)
if that doesn't work
2. Get the rotors skimmed, then refer to step 1.
that should work, but if it doesn't
3. Throw the rotors in the bin and go back to step 1.

If the rotors and/our pads are new perhaps not bedded in properly or the rotors were fitted with excessive run out (dirty hubs etc) could be wheel nuts unevenly tightened as well.best to get shop who fitted them to check it out.

There will be deposits on the discs from not bedding the pads/discs in correctly. Do what coyote said....and don't pussy about when bedding them in. If they don't smoke and smell you have been too gentle

I mentioned all you had said as i knew would be correct.
Not really sure but after a good service and light machine all is fine no wobble present.
It had the guys there stumped? took a couple of rebuilds before they machined.
