New Wheels

Hey all, Im getting my coilovers put on round 20th feb from Pedders, and am just shopping round for tyres. Just realised Tempe do 12 months interest free, so thats a plus.

Anyway, since I couldnt find any wheels like ariths (for the past 2 months), Ive decided I will change the look I want... I have decided i might get these:

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/pages.asp?ID=Kaotik+Madness+Sale

Tempe have them in 19 inch 5x100 PCD for subarus...

Cost is $2000 for rims, tyres (Hancook Ventus S1evo K107), wheels balance and fitting...

I would be going for a look like this:

Thoughts PLEASE! :D

EDIT:

Actually not too sure about these now...

Just realised someone else has these on there libs, and the chrome lip makes them look quite small ;l...

Whats the go with 20s, will my ride be super harsh if i have them?

How bout something like this?

Hi Alex,

IMHO the wheels you've picked don't really suit the libs... They look too chunky lol

I'd personally pick something like these (hope the guys dont mind me using their pics)...

Then again each to their own and variety is the spice of life thats just my opinion :)

mm yeh i dont really like any of those patterns or colours though, I either wanna go black on black, or a gun metal race wheel, or maybe black with a chrome lip

Thats fair enough - you can always get the wheels powdercoated.

Personally i'd stick with a thinner spoked wheel.

good luck with the search and I hope you are able to find a set you like and get them fitted soon.

Come to the next meet so we can check out your car :P

haha ive been looking for 3 months already, i dont think ill find them anytime soon lol

however, one set that has always been in my mind is the konig hot swaps:

You can get different colour inserts, so they can end up looking something like this:

On special for:

19x8 = $2100
20x8 = $2300

Just not sure what size, cause I want a good look, but not a harsh ride ;[

I've seen the Zenetti's on a Magna they looked really good, as long as you get 19". 18" they look quite odd with the tall sidewall. In saying that, Liberties have much pointier noses than the Liberty so such a chunky wheel may not suit.

Those Konigs look like they're about to snap like toothpicks :shock:
