Brakes, Wheels and Tyres

Hi All,
I'm looking at brake upgrade options and found that some Jap tunners are putting on WRX brakes (front and back calipers) on the GT.
Does anyone have any info on them with regards to performance?
I'm trying to find stopping time /distance of both.
Thanks
Bye,
Mo

Standard WRX fronts use smaller rotors than the Liberty so you would also need to purchase front rotors. Why would you want to put smaller rotors on your car? its a backward step. As for the rears you need an adapter (about $400) but thats about it.

Thanks for that Shane. I think the GT brakes are different to yours on the B4 ? I think the std front calipers on the GT are bigger /more clamping force compared to the std B4 calipers?

They arn't b4 brakes though!
They are wrx 4 pots with a Big brake kit, so they use 330mm rotors.
This would be a great upgrade to any turbo liberty!

I know, what i was saying (or trying to say) was only about the calipers - I think (since i don't have and facts and figs) that while the WRX 4pots and 330mm rotors made a big difference on the B4 - i might not get that big an improvement on the GT since the GT has stronger std brakes/caliper clamping force compared to the std WRX or std B4 calipers.
And cost Vs performance on the GT ?

Arrh soz
IMO the 4 pots will give you a better clamping force has its 2 Vs 4 pots.
And if they work well on a B4, they would work just as well, if not better on the new GT.
