If its all for the looks the K-Macs or King Springs will do the job and you'll be least out of pocket with these..

I would suggest new springs, and on the cheap side if $$ are tight.
Kings & KMac would be suitable for giving a lowered stance for around $300-400 per set.
$600 range will get you Eibach (as I presume you have non bilstein sedan being MY05) which will give better handling characteristics.

Resetting would probably set you back about $200odd (at a guess?) but search for Arith's post on this recently - makes a lot of sense. Basically, you shorten the susp travel without increasing the spring rate = bottom out/hit bump stops a lot more often.

Only 3 brands I would suggest:

* Eibach (Which I have :D )
* H&R
* Tein

Tein would be your most cost efficient option & if JDM which we all love. The other 2 being a Euro brand are more expensive & will set you back somewhere between $600-$700 for a set. In saying that, I have seen them go for a lot less... Just need to be in the right place at the right time I guess.

If you are just wanting the looks of course, then the cheaper options like Kmac & King Springs will be your friend :D

i do want them for looks but also i don't want them heaps rough. i know anyway i do lower it, its gonna be a stiffer ride but from wat iv heard the kmac and kings are way to stiff. id love to go teins but i still think they are a bit pricey for springs, that im gonna change to coilovers in a few months anyway. if someone has a second hand set ill probably get them.

Well if you going to go for coils sooner rather then later, then I would just wait :D

Or maybe look at some lower cost brands like D2 etc.

I agree with swingn, if coilovers are only a few months away just wait and don't spend money on springs now.
Just be happy with your car being photoshoped-lowered like in your signature!!

I'll have a front set of pedders springs (done 5000klms) available for sale after I install my eibachs in a few days. They lower the front about 15mm which is the most you would want to go on a standard strut and levels the stance quite nicely without sacrificing too much ride comfort. You can have them for $50 plus the cost of postage (should be about $15). PM if interested.

For info the reason I'm removing them is that the spring rate doesn't suit the Bilstein HD's I have installed.

Or invest in a popular name brand that will be easy to sell later once you do move to coilovers.
