^^^ Thats what I call perfect stance right there. Also love the wheels. Not a huge fan of the gold spokes. Do they come in a silver or grey color option?

Thanks. If I ever were to change my wheels to these, the silver would be a good choice.

G2 Wheels, G2-169 with rivets(same as CSA Caliber). 18 x 8, +37,
KUMHO ECSTA LE SPORT KU39 225/40R18 92Y
Needed the rear guards rolled a couple of mm and the fronts pumped a bit
Around $1300 RRP for the wheels(got them for $450 second hand but never had tyres fitted or used)
Around $900 for the tyres

Im looking into getting a set of Work XD9's 18 x 9 +38 for my TB STI wagon. Apart from rolling/pumping the gaurds, will I run in to any issues? Like clearing Brembo's or inner wheel fouling on the struts? I'll be running the stock Bilteins lowered on Tein springs

As long as they're not grey-imported or old stock, that's pretty decent pricing.

you are right SHIZNT
I was wrong. they are in fact
KUMHO ECSTA LE SPORT KU39 225/40R18 92Y

Don't even have the same tread as the KU31........... DOH
Edited the post

While there are also cheaper prices for these. they are mostly in Sydney, Melbourne and to a lesser extent Brisbane. while I only live 40klms north of Brissy, I needed tyres fast as the tyres on it were cactus(major belt separation) and didn't want to risk the drive and only had a Saturday morning to do it. Normally I wouldn't do that but it's the wife's car and she needs it for Uni and work(120klm round trip)

If you're going to be low, your may need to chop the corner bits where the front bar connects to the quarter panel and then create a new attachment further in (Or install quick release bumper clips/fasteners :) )

Hey All

Am looking at getting new wheels. Im pretty keen on upping tyres to 235/40R18. Wider and cheaper as theyre more common. So minimum I need 18x8. Which is fine just interested in what offsets I can run with the least amount of work as in rolling guards excessive camber etc. Id like as much poke as possible but not looking for usdm style. Any advice appreciated on offsets.

Cheers in advance

You would need a minimum of +40 offset. Probably 45. But to be on the safe side I would still get basic guard rolling in there to avoid issues.

18x8.5 +45 running on 235/40/18 is flush fitment, requires rear guard rolling only.
A more conservative offset and in 8' wide tyre may mean you don't have to roll rear guards but I'm not sure of the exact figures you'd be able to get away with.
