Now those look interesting...

They certainly do. I wonder how these rims rate on lightness compared to the 5x100 TBSTI rims.

Those TBSTi Enkeis would be pretty damn light in comparison...

Fair enough. I suppose there is a reason they go for a fair bit of money.

I did pick a new up up at a Subie dealer outlet (obviously without tyre) and I was surprised how light it felt.

No rubbing issues with the 235s? I would love to try this to see whether it would give my 08 Spec B a better ride/handling compromise....

Does not rub even with 4 people. This set up is not what you would call agressive though.. :D

Cheers / Jim.

Hmm OK thanks - I guess my (stock) ride height would be pretty similar. 215s look disproportionately skinny on 18s! Now to find a spare $700-1000 for a set of WRX wheels :)

Has any one seen a gen 4 on 3sdm .05s in 18x9.5 +35. I'm tempted as hell to roll the guards and fit these bad boys but I wanna see what they look like on the lib as there the old school euro style.

Here's my ride with 18x8 Advan Racing TCII wheels, riding on Pedders level 2 suspension (whatever that means...). But if I say myself... I think this is ideal height! About half gap over the rear wheels and one and a half over the front wheels. Also helps to have chunky tyres!! 235s

Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

How low can we go on offsets on 18x8" with 225's on? A set I'm looking at is +38. Which, if i'm right, will put the outside edge of the wheels out another 30mm?
