I've had my car for a good 6months and now i want to lower it.

I was quoted $550 for the king springs and labour from a place in penrith
the guy said that he could try different springs until he got the height i wanted but i would be only getting a max of about 30-40mm off the height
It was also mentioned that i have different to the stock wheels on there..and that i got a wider tire if i get it lowered too much then even if they roll my guards the tire will still rub on the guard when i go over a bump and my tire size is a 225/40 on my 18x7.5 wheel

I was wondering if this was a good price..any (cheap)alternatives? lol

well custom wheels and tires said they can do it for $450..any height i want..but the guy seemed mad dodge! haha

I would get King Springs, but that just me

If you wanting to get a nicer lower look & maintain good ride quality / handling I'd be looking at Teins, Eibach (Which I have ) or H & R. IMO, they are the best 3 spring brands on the market.

All those brands will generally lower the car about 30mm, which is perfect. King springs generally do have lower spring kits (Say 40mm), but they ride like crap IMO.

Best of both worlds if you're wanting to go super low, is of course (Drum roll...) COIL OVERS But they are obviously a more expensive option... Unless D2 make some that suit the Lib...?

King Springs are an ok option... They will definitely be the cheapest and you can get custom springs made by them to sit the car at just about any height...

Just bear in mind that the Lib bumpstops at least on the Billies are quite high up, so if you try to go too low, you'll be sitting on them and you'll last about 5 mins with it like that imo!

if you want to drop the car any lower than 30 mm then just spend the money and buy some cheap coilovers, do the install yourself its fairly easy, allow a day if you've never done it before.

i have been stuffing around with different springs just for height pruposes and not handling, in the end i have Lovells springs and my car is a RUFF ride- i have trimmed my bumpstops back and the rears are fine but the fronts always bottom out, corners promote bumpsteer so handling is shot to- im saving pennies now to buy some cheap coilovers for the main reason that the bumpstops up front are alot lower than stock, so i wont be bottoming out anymore.

Yehh, I have looked into those and other brands as well. But I will Still have to pay someone to fit it and shit..and thats what might cost a bit cos I think I will have to get a wheel alignment done after I get new springs..
Haha yehh i have seen those..my mate used to have them on his pulsar..took him like 5mins once to get out of the Dominos car park lol.
