Would these wheels fit OK on my MY07 GT-B?

Postby MikeeR » Sun May 31, 2009 8:29 pm

Just spotted some Works emotion XD9's for sale, they're 18x8, 5 x 100 PCD +45 with 225/40 tyres on them. Could anyone advise whether they would fit OK on my MY07 Liberty GT-B. I like the look of them, but don't want to have to deal with rubbing issues or having to roll guards.

Thanks

+1

I think you'll need to roll at least the front.

You won't need to roll them much if at all, I have Work 19x8 +45 on mine and we only lipped the front a tiny bit.

Thanks for those replies. As much as I do like these wheels the thought of having to roll the guards on a car I've only just bought does not do much for me. I think I'll give them a miss.

If it helps... I have 18 x 8's with a 51 off set running 225/40 tyres & they fit perfectly :D No need for rolling etc.

No its stock. I just bought the car and the previous owner put BSA G2 wheels on it. They don't look that great to me but I'm slowly getting used to them. I'm just considering what to replace them with. Might just replace them with the standard wheels if I can find some or some Sti wheels would probably be my prefered option.

This is what it looks like at the moment:

youl be fine, i have 19x8 with a +45 offset lowered and i have had the car REALLY LOW without needing to role guards only thing is it would scrape on full lock but that was when it was practically onits bumpstops at the front (sane people wouldnt go this low)
