EOI – Dixcel M type front brake pads

Postby SMI77 » Sat May 23, 2009 9:46 pm

This is a joint effort in yours truly organizing the group and the amazing Phatman arranging the buy.

You may well have read previous threads on these pads’, as opposed to OEM, superior performance, lack of squealing, and significantly reduced brake dust.

Current pricing for a set (4 pads for 2 wheels) is approx. $300.00
Since the GFC has wrecked the $AUD in late 2008, it has worked its way back to approx. 78cents against the $US and 74cents against the Yen.

This is for front pads, however rear pads, and brand thereof, may be considered, dependant upon response.

The EOI will close in one week’s time, where a decision will be made.

Thank you.

No one is discriminating against 2 pot screamers.
First we have to establish numbers, be it Subaru 2 pot or Brembo 4 pot or whatever, to enable the Phatman to do serious negotiating.
Hence EOI.

The Phatman has already waived his magic and advises:-

*i cant see the Type M (0-500deg) pads being more than $250 a set for any car (front)

*the rear will be $240 for Type M (0-500deg)

*Type Z (0-850deg) $330 for the front *bet used with upgraded rotors

*type Z (0-850 deg) $300 for the rear *but i would'nt use these on a mostly street car

all above prices are shipped anywhere in OZ

I will be up for a set of rear to suit brembos. I bought a set of the type m fronts and their just awesome for dustless pads and far superior to the stock ones. To date I still have no noise issues either and I am running stock rotors at 31K kms. I bought mine from Troy for $295.
