Just gotta get this off my chest. Bought myself a set of Advan rims last fortnight expecting my rims to be at the shop and ready to be put on my car in under 4 weeks time. Called the shop today only to realise that Advan need to make my rims from scratch and will miss the Japan to Aus shipment that comes once a month. So now I got to wait till July to get my rims :(

All well lets hope its all worth it. Spent 5 figures last fortnight in gear for the car so atleast some of the mod bug madness will be squashed.

Ahh, very nice Martin! Those are awesome wheels! Though I wasn't too keen on the fact they didn't do a charcoal colour, and the dark silver wasn't my taste. Being a white car, have you thought about powder coating them charcoal? :D

Great pick up Jim!

I was exactly the same. I was initially going to get the Advan RS but they came only in 18's so I ended up going screw it ill get the Kreutzer's in 19. However like you said the colour was off putting without a Charcoal.

So a simple answer.... yup, going to powder coat them charcoal. Was actually gonna ask if anyone knows a good place to get them done in Perth?

Thanks Leo :)

I have no doubt that it will look awesome but the colour is starting to bug me. Hopefully it will look the part. If not still got the powder coating as backup I guess.

Alliance Rim Repairs. Do NOT go anywhere else. They are well respected in the WA car scene.

I got my Charcoal TBSTI Enkei cured of some substantial gutter rash there. I'm fussy as all hell and I simply CANNOT fault the repair, nor can I pick where the damage previously was.

Their new premises are 2/25 Montgomery Way Malaga.

Advan racing rims, fairly close to a STi Enkei rim, come in colours, including charcoal.

I have been told by a powdercoater that any cracks in a rim will not show through the powdercoating.
