Anyone running these? What's the verdict?

I got em.

They are comfy and soft. Better than the Japanese-spec'd TEINs. I don't know how they handle though...

The KW's are for my 2.5i so I'm pretty used to comfy and soft, just looking for better handling.

When you say you don't know how they handle, do mean the Teins? How do you find the handling on KW? Have you used the adjustment much?

Most people seem to be running Tein on their Liberty's but I can get good sales and service with KW locally which is a big plus for me.

Looks interesting to me just for the independant compression/rebound damping adjustment. Not sure how you can adjust the "length" of even the Variant 3 - preload adjustment doesn't count (I would want the damper to be at the middle of its stroke when the car is at rest - preload adjustment alters this rest position)

It looks like the KW Variant 2 is the only one that will fit on Gen IV. These only have adjustable rebound with compression set from the factory.

I'd prefer compression and rebound adjustment but I guess that's what the V3 is for.

I meant the TEINs as I haven't had any experience with them firsthand.

I usually have my coilovers on near-softest setting on daily, even the firmest setting is softer than the TEINs on softest :P

the reason i didn't go with the KW was, because of wanting to be able to adjust the height of the car with out affecting the pre-load on the springs.

from what i can see & how i understand them to work, this cant be done????

Are you planning on tracking your car?

Because if you're looking for better handling you would probably be better off getting some sportier shocks & lowered springs :D

Should also be a cheaper option.

Interesting point. Looks like the fronts can be wound down and this would only compress the light spring on the bottom, leaving the heavy spring as is. Not sure about the rears though.

No track work for my car, love twisty roads though. Unfortunately most of the best driving roads around here are rough which is why I'm keen on adjustable suspension.

Also it seems like everyone on here who's gone with springs first has ended up getting coilovers later. Years of riding and racing bikes has made me a bit picky with all things boing too. Still, I'll look into it. Is Bilstein with Tein S Tech springs the way to go? STi Pinks?

i would recommend against the sti pinks, they a far too soft for the money your paying, i have and i am sure other tb sti drivers have bottomed out a fews time due to the softness of the spring, having been in a gt-b with tein s tech, they a worth the money, the ride is a little firm, the cars fills more solid and clearence is good considering the 20-25mm drop in ride height..... i know others members speak highly about h&r and eilbach spirngs, but i have never had the chance to compae the ride
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty
