braking problem

Subaru 2010 Liberty periodically the car accelerates when breaking. On immediately breaking again it works fine. Anyone had this problem?

Do you mean the throttle opens up and the engine takes off? OR the brakes seem to disappear? If the later it could be a brake booster issue?

Probably a silly question, but you're not wearing very wide shoes that can touch the accelerator pedal when you're braking?

Not a silly question at all Rick, I have wide feet and my joggers have a sole wider than the actual jogger itself... it's scares the crap out of you. :roll:
