From the tread pattern on the RE001's, I wouldn't say they were comfort / luxury style tyres
For info, the RE050A's are used as OEM tyres on a lot of higher performance cars such as (Of course) Liberty GT's & HSVs. So really, it's a safe choice to go for when your up for new rubber. I've just never been a bit fan of OEM tyres, you pay heaps because they are "OEM" tyres.
Have heard nothing but good things about the RT615's. They are ment to be a solid performance tyre & I know it seems to be the tyre of choice for cars that have trouble putting their power down, like the MPS 3

Only down side that I'm aware of is that they do wear out quickly. So if your doing the normal 20k a year, you'll be getting a set of tyres every 12 months... Which isn't a bad thing considering the cost of our cars & the amount of mods a lot of us have done.
