NSW Wheel/Tyre Setup Laws

Hey guys,

I've been doing research into some wheels and tyres that'll fit my Gen4, but NSW Services don't really give me much information regarding what I'm allowed to run. Does anyone have any tips on things that I should avoid/look out for (Anything about wheel width or track-width would be extra helpful) and how I would go about informing RMS of any changes?

Cheers

Iirc its ADR rules.
Various limitations to diameter, width and track over the stock equipment.
The most extreme stock wheels are 18 7.5 +55 tbSTi rims.

However with coilovers and rear guardwork, 18 8.5 +45 on 235 40 is regarded as flush with the guards.
As such this setup looks legal if at a sensible ride height, eg tyre tops level with the guard tops horizontally.

From there you can extrapolate sizing from eg willtheyfit com, using your stock or existing setup as a baseline.

What wheel and tyre combo did you go for?
