Wheel noise

Postby Fender » Mon Nov 04, 2019 10:29 pm

Wheel, I was getting a groweling sound from my front wheels. The mechanic said the tyres had bubbled due to worn shockers. I had them and discs changed. Bought new tyres and had a new alignment.

The growl us still their. My car is a 2008 Liberty. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Possibly the hub, the hub contains the bearing.
Raise the car, spin the wheel, use a mechanics stethoscope on eg the knuckle assy to listen for worn bearing noise.
Also pull and push the wheel at 12 & 6 o’clock to check for bearing play.
