Well the wl caster adjust is variable, Avo and super pro are fixed, the superpro is available in extra caster one side and neutral the other to account for the macadam... caster adjust will limit taller tyres in the forward wheel well (eg they will rub a bit), though eg 18x8.5 +35 w/ 235/40/18 won't rub with the avo's.

In summary don't sweat it, or let your alignment guru decide.
Iirc Owen recommends raceline in Ringwood.

unless someone else can convince me otherwise

I've used Whiteline Caster/ALK in three Subies now, a BH5 Liberty, BPE Outback, and BP5 Legacy and never had a problem with them at all. The .5 degree of caster isn't extreme but the difference in steering response is noticeable. As Ben said unless you are running an extreme wheel/tyre combo you shouldn't have any rubbing issues.

Essentially caster adjust lays back the struts a little more than stock, increasing straight line stability, return to centre and dynamic camber. I did it bc why not, it complements my other susp mods :)

as my suspension guy said, more castor the better. Spf2803k 2 degrees of caster compared to white kca334 0.5 degrees castor.

i wonder how does whiteline claim their has "anti lift" in it

would superpro top of the range one with 2 degree caster, have built in "anti lift" feature too?

It's just shims on top of the bushes iirc, changing the plane of the control arm.

that document, makes it sound so awesome... that i have to get it..

Conclusion
With the ALK fitted to the Subaru WRX, a softer suspension will be present during
braking and accelerating. This will help traction, as the wheel will be able to track the
ground more precisely. Also in terms of balance the front end will have a proportionally
lower roll resistance during traction or braking, aiding in reducing the power understeer
effect that is present in these cars.
