Brake Rotors and Pads for 2005 3.0R Spec B

Postby specb_liberty » Fri Mar 03, 2017 3:56 pm

Hello, I am having some bad brake shudder at freeway speed when braking hard which I can feel through only the steering wheel. I am looking at getting some new rotors and pads all around on a budget. Would these RDA Rotors be any good also is auto parts shop a good place to buy from?

I am looking at putting in some Bendix General CT pads also, are the rear pads 111mm or 108mm in length as they have both listed on supercheap auto.
Thanks

Gen4 Spec-B brake rotors are 316mm dia x 30mm thick ventilated fronts and 290mm dia x 18mm thick ventilated rears.
Neither of the brake rotors posted are suitable.

The brake pads are DB1722 fronts and DB1379 rears

Thanks for that, so these front rotors would be good? Also is Australian disc brakes a good brand?

One other question is that sparesbox says that the DB1803 brakes are for the rear and the DB1379 won't fit or is their website wrong?

Thanks

These would fit. How good they are and how long they would last, I cannot say?

Only way to tell is to reomve your rear brake pads and compare them.
I never frankly trust any website for spare parts.

Thanks

Corgi is correct.

The DB1803 is for the Gen V liberty and SH forester either vented or non vented rotor.
