Brake Pad and Disc Recommendations

Postby Deeks » Wed Feb 22, 2017 1:04 pm

Hi all,

my very ordinary aftermarket discs and pads for my stock 08 TBSTI have very quickly deteriorated recently and in need of some advice.

The car has the Brembo outfit and rather than spending serious coin on genuine Brembo pads and discs, was wondering if the experts here can offer some direction on any decent and affordable after market parts.

Would prefer no to low dust as I'm over cleaning the enkei rims more than often.. and perhaps ventilated discs.

My driving style is pedestrian to very spirited (occasionally). No constant speed racer stuff...

thanks in advcance

im planning to buy some brake and rotors too

i have my eyes on DBA T2 rotors and Intima pads (still deciding SS or SR) if you look around you can prob get the whole set for about $700 ish

to save you time the rotors are DBA654S-10 and DBA 655S-10

hope that helps

without going into full detail,

i found a good price of those rotors above, no shop could beat the quote for me so far

and ebay just released C10 10% off code, so i pulled the pin and bought them

DBA654S-10 and DBA 655S-10 for about $475 delivered
