Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction/ give me advice/ tell me its a stupid idea, about changing the hubs to 114.3 (same size as the sti hubs) How much of the drivetrain do i need to change to make this a reality.

I have a set of the 5 spoke STI wheels, (the ones that came on the MY08 STI hatches), and I really like them. I have no plans for Brembos yet. I just really like these rims and want to make them work.

EDIT: The specs of the rims are 18x8.5" +55

You would need a set of 316mm disc (for front) and 290 x 18mm rear discs, etc, from a Tribeca.
Plus the four wheel bearings, etc. (if they fit the Liberty housings)
And possibly the rear handbrake system (if this is different for the Tribecca rear brake discs)

Plus you would need an Engineer's Certificate (as these diameter PCD wheel ssytem was never offered on a Liberty)

Start looking here at the Tribeca parts cattalogue

They don't fit. Fronts you can simply swap with STi uprights, and use STi struts and STi wheel bearings (which are better anyway). You'll also need STi front driveshafts.

Rears... you need to custom make stuff. It's not cheap, but doable. You'll need a new STi wheel bearing, a new liberty wheel bearing, and STi driveshafts - and if you have an R160 I think you'll need them custom made.

TLDR: It's possible, but not worth it in 99% of cases.
