REAR DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT BAR

Postby Tanetoa » Wed Jan 11, 2017 5:40 pm

Was told by my mechanic that it's shot and it's best to order a Beatrush support bar online.

Just wondering if there are any other options as the only one I can find is overseas.

Thanks

garage 88 will sell you one, I bought one through there. Alternatively I have a low KM one in melbourne if you want.

I also got a Beatrush for the Lib through Garage 88 a few months back.

Here's an alternative though if you're looking something cheap - you can get a non-genuine substitute part from Febest (they have a warehouse in Melbourne so delivery is quick).

Just had one of these fitted to my Outback this week since one of the bushes had turned to goo.

Yes you can.

If you're not going to replace the bushes yourself though, the workshop labour cost to remove the old bushes and install new ones costs more than just buying the complete replacement diff support with new bushes already installed (at least that is when compared with the cheap Febest option). My local mechanic didn't even charge me to install the new diff support.

Also the pass side bushing will leak viscous fluid...
