G'day,

I was wondering if anyone could offer advice on lowering the ride height on a MY05 3.0R B Wagon?

More specifically, how does lowering affect the Bilstein set-up?

There are quite a lot of Japanese springs that you can get that will lower the car anywhere from around 15mm to about 45mm that will work with the std Bilstiens without a problem.

Excellent Mo, thanks for that. Any places you would recommend for lowering, or does Revlimits do that work as well?

Do you know if lowering the car affects the warranty?

I'd say it would.. if there is a problem with the car and it can relate to the car being lowered warrenty will not cover you.

That is why u go else where to get a check/quote.. once you know what it is, and if the springs relate to the problem, then you put stocko ones back in and then goto Subaru and hit up the warrenty     But I didnt tell you that ;)

Put TEINS in ;) :P

LOL! yup, the above sounds like good advice ;)

Revlimits will do lowering but they mainly use local springs (kings, whiteline, etc) or more serious stuff like DMS(RMS builds rally cars as well). I'd ask if they can source you something like Teins or buy the springs and get RMS to fit them on for you.
