Howdy
I have Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 215 45 18 tyres on my tbSTI Enkei rims (I think they were factory spec, but I assume on 2nd set when I got the car)
They still have tread after around 45,000kms, but they're starting to screech around corners.
Have been really happy with them - great grip (until recently), quiet, etc
I'm hoping to replace them with the same but can't seem to find anywhere at a reasonable price. They appear to be discontinued.
Found this, but if the pic is anything to go by, it's not the same tyre: http://www.stgeorgetyres.com.au/tyres/p ... etail.aspx
I believe it has a symmetrical/directional pattern.
Can get the Pzero Neros for about $180 each, but I presume they're an inferior tyre?
1. Does anyone know where I can get the Rossos under $200/corner in Melbourne
2. Any suggestions for something better at this price?
Seems 215 is an odd size, but I have no understanding about whether a 220/225 would be suitable, but if they are I wouldn't mind the extra width in terms of aesthetics if it doesn't adversely affect performance or speedo calibration. Definitely don't want to drop down to a 40 though.
Any advice would be appreciated. Had a quick search of the threads but couldn't find anything recent which is relevant.
