Staggered Offset on a MY07

Got a question about rims,
Do you think staggered offset would upset the centre diff or the whole drive train if the rears were lesser offset than the front? The only thing I can think is it might increase understeer which I can fix but I don't want to upset the drivetrain.

Offset should have nothing to do with the diff - it just affects the track width of the car. Changing rolling diameters would upset the diff.

Why would you want to run a staggered setup on a AWD car?

i can't comment as i don't know but if you look at the car's orginal specs:
Front track mm 1495
Rear track mm 1490

The question is why not, GTR's run staggered offset, I don't want to run different width's, I just want to take advantage of the +5m track difference on the rear for dish, also it will be unique.

Yes, but they are RWD and the larger width in the back is mean to take advantage of that. Anyway, if you can make it happen, more power to ya!
I'd certainly like to see this as it will be unique indeed!

They are AWD... unless you remove the fuse.

Opps. My bad! I was thinking of the GT-S's. Forgot the GTR's are AWD.

Hoping I'm not wrong but.. Pulling the fuse out, only works on the R32. The R33 and R34 aren't able to do that, I believe. And the GTR's may be AWD but most of the time they are RWD, the ATTESSA ETS system (i think thats what its called) only sends power to the front during cornering or when its needed sorta thing. But I could be wrong. Please don't flame me.

Yeah thats all right but the rims are all the same width otherwise you throw out the drive train and attessa system. They are mainly RWD until the rears slip and then the front kicks in.

I agree with you there not constant AWD, power is transfered to the front wheels only when reqd. In stock form there not designed to work under constant AWD
