Theyre an asymmetrical tyre which means you can cross rotate them if you like as they can only fit on the wheel one way but on the car wherever

Also 235/40R18 should be run on 8" minimum. The largest to fit on a 7" is 225/45R18 according to the Australian Wheels and Tyres Guidelines (in keeping close to oem rolling diameter)

I'm running 225/45/18 RE003's on post face spec b rims. Cost around $280 each.
I put a cheapy (in the same size) on the spare so i didn't do any damage - if i ever have to use it

Seriously great tire. LOTS of grip, and this size is more comfortable ride than factory 215/45/18. More sidewall, more comfort.

Speedo has gone from 8% over-read down to 5% over-read too

As far as I'm aware the stock tbSTI wheels are 7.5".
Whatever, I don't mind too much what they are they muffin ever so slightly but that's not a bad thing because my wife mostly drives the car and even though she's never done any damage to them and she's as careful as she can be she's still a female :P ...I only drive it on weekends.
On my other car my tyres a a full 5 inches taller than what came standard on it so I'm fairly used to 'not having OE rolling diameter'.
