What's the better offset?

Postby metalfx » Tue Aug 25, 2015 10:31 pm

I'm after some new wheels and I'm looking at the Koya SF01s 18 x 8.

I'm running brembos and stock suspension.
What's will be the better offset to get, +42 or +38?

Cheers,

Adam

You will have trouble getting +38 under your guards. AFAIK the +42 fits perfectly.

+38 will fit fine on stock suspension with a 225/40. it may scrub the teeeeeniest little bit at the back and rolling your rear guards would fix that

Nice wheel :) +38 will give the spokes more concave too but it won't look anywhere near as aggressive as in the picture.

Im running a 45 offset. Still has some concave to the wheel. Just not aggressive. I havent had to roll the guards with 225/40/18's & a full car load. I get zero scrubbing on unmodified guards. This is with lowered or stock springs.
