How to go about siezed/stripped bolt

Postby Jordan.k » Fri Jul 10, 2015 1:30 am

So I thought i'd have a go installing my own suspension, all was going well got 1 corner done on the front, then had this stubborn bolt in the front right strut. Have used alot of wd40 but even with decent quality tools it has been rounded off, now I'm not too sure what my options are

Heres a picture of it. Not in any rush to drive my car but where can I get an oem replacement, didn't seem like I could find it on partsouq.

Will get a better picture tomorrow If i haven't sorted it out

You have a photo of a nut and a bolt if its the nut use a nutcracker or a Dremel tool and split the nut .From what I can see you realy dont have much of a problem .

Had a mate get it out for me, just purchased a new nut, not an oem unit but it seems to be fine atm. Picking up an oem one on Monday probably
