These 2 don't go together.
You'll need 9"+ and low offsets like +35 and less.

It depends on how much guard work you want to do.

18x8.5 +35 with 235 40 r18 is what myself and Owen have on Shockworks and caster offset LCA's.
Owen has lip/dish and AP low profile brakes. Nissan 2pots are a good low pro option as well.
I have flat face with deep center crater on brembos, guards DIY rolled up and out (pumped).

Another member has the concave xxrs with custom flared guards: massive job.

Adrian's Weds would be even greater in a similar offset to ours.
The center is very shallow: see how the short nuts protrude from the rim face for max concave in what is a stockish size. :good:

http://wedssport.jp/products/english/sp ... /sa10r.pdf
So you'd need to take some measurements on your coilover clearance to step up to the next deepest face in the 9.5" width.

I use this calculator to work it all out.
It allowed me to buy a set of Simmons V5's 15x8 +35 for the Baur with confidence :good:

All of you who have view this thread and / or reply to this thread are now officially in the competition to source the most agressive looking wheel for the GTB.
As the winner of the competition you will get to see as many pics as you want of that rim.... fitted on my GTB.... come to think of it... if you win ... a few of us will also use the same rim for their GTB.Also ... there's more .... as the winner of the competition, I will meet up with you and shout you to any Macca's meal of your choice x2.... that right ... i will pay for your lunch x2.

The rules are simple ....
1- Photos of rim with deep dish (edit- as much as possible) and simple fat spoke agressive looking designs.
2- Rims must be of type 18 x 8-8.5 max x realistic offset,
3- Where to get it from, hopefully Victoria.
3- how much will it cost, under 2K prefered.

You have until the end of your life to post as many wicked design that you can find.

Goodluck to you all and may the best man win.
Hop to it people !!!

How do I 'like' or thumbs up this post. haahaha

I have found a rim that I really like, 18x8, perfect offset, not deep dish, looks like Rays G25, and great value. Afraid to post it up coz there is limited availability. :P

I can't remember how many time I get fustrated with finding something that I like .. But only to be disappointed with no suitable 5x100 pattern let lone proceeding with offset calculation.

As it is a daily drive I am limited to consider camber / coils at this stage. I willing to roll the guard if required ...hopefully something will come up soon.

I am confident that with all u guys helping out looking ....We will have something nice possibly for all of us to consider very soon. Keep up the good works guys and again .. Thank you very much.

I like your wheels Adrian. They suit the car nicely. What did they set you back if you dont mind me asking?

I got them as a set deal from a company here in Japan called Fuji Corporation. Like a Japanese Bob Jane or Tempe Tyres. They do JDM brand wheels as well as cheap Chinese knockoffs. The set cost me just under ¥200 000 with 215/45 Yoko Ice Guard 5s, a winter tyre. Wheels alone in the Zebra Black run around ¥20 000 per on Yahoo Auctions in 18", 7.5 and 8.5, both +45. You can also get a Blue Light Chrome version which looks really nice but adds about ¥8000-10 000 per wheel.
As per the spec Benny posted in 7.5" it's a sub 8.5kg wheel which is pretty damn light.

How so? 250-350 per wheel seems to be the norm, did you check out the 18" semi forged on their website?

Really? Please show me the $250 per wheel option coz every time I look at the website at the semi forged section they are showing a minimum price of $325 + freight for 18" wheels. They have an 18x8" wheel in the super sports range for $290 + freight but they look like everything else I've seen.

Don't get me wrong, they are brilliant quality and yes they do customizable wheels but I have yet to see a Koya wheel in an 18" for $250 per wheel in a design that is unique, Otherwise I would be all over it.
