New rear brake pads

Postby MarkC77 » Sun Jun 29, 2008 6:19 pm

I currently have DBA 4000 rotors (with stock pads ATM) on the fronts and stock rotors and pads on the rear.

My rear pads are due for replacement soon so I need some advice on what to get. I as not planning on changing the stock rotors on the rear so should I just get some new OEM pads? Or is there some improvments to be had with going for Bendix or other branded pads (they are probably cheaper than OEM I would imagine.

If I go for a non OEM pad which ones have a model that fit straight on the Liberty? I have seen on the Bendix website that they have different ones (4WD/Heavy Duty/Ultimate etc) that fit, would you guys recomment any of these?

Thanks.

People are recommend the Hawk pads, apparently they're quite good. I'm yet to try them, I have Ferodo DS2000 at the front and not overly happy with them.
