Has anybody here painted their brake calipers? Or know anyone in sydney that can get them professionally done? I don't know if I can trust myself to do them alone...

the painting part is only half the effort, make sure you prep the surface.

you might want to bead blast the surface to get rid of the casting impressions, this will give a nice smooth surface.

I painted mine silver, didn't want anything too bling.
It's not too hard to DIY, just take off your wheel, clean it properly (wire brush and degreaser and brake cleaner), and do multiple light coats.

If you put in the effort, you can really make them look tops... as long as you sand them all back.
ahh, if only I could be bothered to do mine properly... :(

Not a bad idea. I agree this would certainly be easier....but I'd probably re-paint over them & get rid of the fake brembo logo's. I don't want to look like a try hard with fake brembos....

but the covers themselves aren't a bad idea...it'll take the effort out of painting them, but i doubt they'll withstand the heat

No offence to anyone but i really don't see the point in painting the std calipers... its too much work for no gain.

All you will be doing is making some that doesn't stand out - stand out for all the wrong reasons...

Plus making more work for yourself as you'll have to keep the clean to look their best...
