pitch stop mounts

I've been looking at pitch stop mounts, and there seems to be a whole bunch of them - I suspect that the STI Group N mount will do the job without a terrible NVH increase.

Does anyone have any specific experience or recommendations of pitch stop mounts? I want to stop it pitching, but I still want decent NVH

also, places to buy it from - STI Group N PSM from the US is only $50 or so, but the shipping is $50 anyway so it ends up being $100 anyway.

Entra aren't listing the pitch stop mount on their website, but Evolution R in perth will do them all for what seems to be the best price around - http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/evolution-r ... mount.html

Might give them a call and see if they are still doing that - might have changed since that post

is that your shopping cart? i would choose the pierburg or cobb over the grimmspeed 3 port, they seem to be a bit temperamental according to some people
Also not sure about the 5 speed but people generally rated the kartboy short shifter much more than the cobb!

Obviously not telling you to change it all haha just trying to help

I only ended up getting the pitch stop mount and short shifter this time, I am probably going to get the rest, plus a bunch of other bushings etc later.

The reason I'm posting again is to say the group N pitch stop mount (at least for manual) is one of the best BFYB mods to do. It provides much better response and feedback, with a VERY minor increase to NVH. A lot of people have reported that the poly/billet pitch stop mounts create massive NVH, and I'm sure they are slightly stiffer, but I think you're gaining a very small amount for a large NVH increase.

It takes under 30 minutes to install, and you only need a few tools to do it.

FWIW, it looks like this:

Has anyone fitted an upgraded pitch stop mount to a Gen V?

They seem to be popular in the states but I haven't heard much about them here. I was tossing up between group N/Kartboy/Perrin

Anyone know if this is the same part as on WRXs? The WRX one was the same part from '94-'21, so maybe?

Looking at the one up here, clicked through from Google, and it still has the Lib GTB filter showing from another open tab, so that's promising...

Edit: wow, their site is way better than average. There's a compatibility list for parts at the bottom of the page, and my answer is yes. They seem to have the best prices too, so big ups to Car Mods Australia.
