STI Pink Springs

I've been looking at getting sti pinks but am after a bit of help, I have found them on Nengun's website but is $100 each good?

Also should I be buying the springs listed as 3.0r (ST2033021000) or for a gt specb (ST2033021010) because they would be to suit the bilstein shocks wouldn't they? and for rear springs they have a 3.0r tw (ST2038021020) and a 3.0r b4 (ST2038021030) and I have no idea what the difference is between them?

Any help will be appreciated :)

I'd have thought you should order the springs for the 3.0, as the engine weights are slightly different.

Also be aware that there are differences between wagon and sedan springs in the rear.

I thought there would be differences for the wagon too but it says that the springs fit both a sedan and wagon? Which I thought was odd

I recently did a lot of research on this before purchasing my set of sti pinks and found that the different types of pink springs are simply to account for the weight of each car model (hence the differences between manual/auto and sedan/wagon). Spring rates are the exact same for each spring it is just the length that differs.

Great info can be found here including fitment chart: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.p ... ml?t=61108
Another great site for fitment info: http://www.rhdjapan.com/sti-coil-spring ... bl-bp.html
Most people seem to be going with the GT Manual set up for a nice even stance (refer to chart on that legacygt post for part numbers)
I went with that setup after seeing it recommended constantly on legacygt and by the guys at Import Monster (they do a great price too), very happy with the ride quality and the stance is nice and even with very little of the "saggy butt" that can be common. Check my build thread for pictures of the stance.

That's just my 2 cents, or 200 cents considering the length of this post

Spoke with my local Subaru dealer today, they can actually supply the STI Pink springs at a slightly cheaper price too.

sorry to drag this old thread up :)
thinking of selling my bc br coilovers, putting my billys back in and getting some sti pink springs for just a little low :)
so according to the legacygt thread due to 'saggy butt' I should get wagon springs for my sedan?
so the part numbers i would need for my my07 3.0 spec b are
st2033021000 for front and st2038021020

Oddly enough mine sits level with 3.0 sedan springs, whether it still does in 4 years or not is the next question. If you're after a little bit lower I've seen gt springs recommended to make the front lower and that will allow the back a bit more sag before it's lower in the rear

I got GT sedan springs for mine as recommended on that forum to counteract any "saggy bum" effect.
I've got a nice even stance I'm happy with, so does Bryce with his 3.0r springs, so I don't think it really is too big a deal.

Got mine for $290 shipped off IM too btw.

It depends on what you want to achieve, your specific model chassis code or actual model year, and if your dampers are worn or faulty.
