Hey guys,
I am in need of help. Removing my coilovers I've recently purchased 2nd hand back to my stock shocks. But the 2 bolt holes are not lining up. The bottom of the shocks sits way to low. Is there another way I can get this done? Cheers

Jack the control arm up until the bolts line up.

Dont have a pic of it. Had to put back the coilovers back in. Is it possible to run different coilovers. Thinking of just replacing the fronts as 1 is slightly bowed on the threaded shaft and the locking ring are seized. If so I want to get the bc v1 as I have the pedders xa extreme 2nd hand atm. The rears seem fine

Assuming you're doing one corner at a time, make sure you disconnect the swaybar.

Just got back from Bob Jane. Didnt get the wheel alignment as they said it wont do anything for the lib. They said the LCA bushes are shot and the coilovers are fcked.
Looking for cheap/new coilovers and Lca bushes. Any places in sydney/mt druitt that can do this for me?
cheers

Grab a set of J speed LCA bushes from g88 - they're comfortable and an upgrade in every way to oem. And they don't wear out.

How much are the j speed lcas? Going to pedders 2mro so they can have a look at the coilovers. Seen if they can rebuilt. If not or cost too much. Will just buy new ones

Define 'fcked'?
I wouldn't trust Pedders as far as I could throw them

Locking rings are seized. The threaded collar part is slightly bowed. Have to go to pedders as its their coilovers. Extreme XA coilovers.
I dont trust them too but I called another pedders which were in penrith and the guy was helpful compared to the guys in blacktown. So will go to them and check it out. Got all the standard shocks back in. Was a PITA but finally got em in. Feels like ive been installing these for years. Done it so many time in 3 days..lol

They're basically BC V1's (tbc) iirc and the spares are available from the importer JustJap.
A replacement shock canister is about $200 a side, plus 2x sets of bearings and camber plates the same again iirc.
Soak the lockrings and buy (jj) c spanners to undo them, or tap gently with a drift and hammer.
Jj sell the lockrings too of course

Anyhow here's mine:
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=18233&start=0Meanwhile, I bought another set of shagged front coilovers (ksport iirc) to use the bearings and plates (assuming they'll fit) as the bc v1 plates are quite bendy...
