hey guys so basically i have an 05 gt and im finally getting her dropped. im getting my suspension done at s technic in perth and theyve given me a few quotes and specs the tein street flex seems the way to go. ive been told i get a 35mm drop. i have myself a set of 19 inch advan conissuers and im just wandering is 35 going to be enough to make those wheels sit pretty in the guards or should i look for some adjustables so i can sort the heights out better. any opinions on the streetflexs are welcome cheers

Tein street flex is a coilover kit, correct? Coilovers are adjustable which means you pick the height.

I don't think they are actually the way they are talking they are saying they offer a 35mm drop so unsure ill have to clarify

They may start at 35mm lower than stock, and then go lower?

Flex's go low - like really low.
You can wind the body of the shock through the 'knuckle' to get it lower than just winding the springs.

If your just driving around on the street, get some BC BR's and save a decent amount of money.

Cheers guys sorry for being a noob suspension isn't my thing hmm I have looked into the bc br before my issue is I haven't got the time to install them myself that's why I was going to get a shop to do it and most of them do supply and install rather than just install where's the best place to get bc's from im going brand new nit second hand

I couldn't have said this better.

Why dont you fit some smaller brakes, 15" enkei RG's or speedlines, a hard gravel rally tyre, some 50mm DMS/proflex/reiger/MCA/bilstein/Fox struts and raise it up 4 inches....Gutters, roundabouts, crossing those sand islands on the tonkin....
