STI Lower Arm Bar - anyone here got one?

thinking of buying STi Lower Arm for my Lib. Anyone here have same part installed on their Libo?

RRP (unfitted):$358.55 ( I can buy it for $250)

Components:The Lower Arm bar for Liberty GT helps to increase chassis stiffness. The brace will improve handling stability and ride comfort. The brace comes in silver finish with a cherry red STI logo.

I don't have this part, but I would suspect it won't give you improved ride comfort.

With suspension components there's always a bit of a pay off. You can achieve better handling, but then your ride quality will diminish. It all depends on what application you’re using your car for. My car is lowered with Eibachs & the ride quality is not much firmer then stock, dispite sitting 40mm lower. As I use mine as an everyday driver it has worked out well for me.

Hopefully someone else will be able to shed more light on the situation for you.

Don't get the STi one, get the Cusco 4-point one. It's cheaper and does more.

It won't affect ride quality; I have the Cusco one on my car. Lessens understeer and body roll; it's like a strut brace but to connect the lower points. Definitely recommended.

Supprised that's the case mate. If its a good as you say, damn man, I'm going to have to look into it myself!

I'll have an extra Cusco four-point front and rear soon for sale; deciding if I want to put the rear on or not. If not, I'll be selling it. But I'll definitely have a front one for sale soon! As soon as it arrives (coming via sea) I'll be selling it; it came as a bundle F+R but I already have the front.
