Kayaba KYB Excel-G : any good

Postby klam » Fri Apr 25, 2014 8:41 am

Guys, I'm looking for a low-cost replacement of the OEM shocks (F & R) and found KYB Excel-G Twin Tube Gas Shocks, can source them cheap from partsouq.com

Anyone has any experience with these? Are they softer than OEM or about the same stiffness? I'd like them the same or stiffer maybe as I really liked the OEM ones were performing. I don't really want any performance shocks, it's for the 2.0R engine anyway with no track racing.

Or any recommendations?

Thanks.
p.s.: I cannot search this forums using 3< letters, so if this is a repost, then I apologize

Yes you can search the forum with less than 3 characters in the search term:

https://www.google.com.au/#q=site%3Afor ... YB+Excel+G

Also do same on LGT as afaik they are more popular stateside.

https://www.google.com.au/#q=site%3Aleg ... YB+Excel+G

Add another term like "vs" or "any good" "recommend" etc...
