I have a standard 3.0R brake setup, and upon painting the rear calipers, i noticed there is a bit of metal holding in the rear brake calipers.

This part is exposed and sits at the end of the brake pads, and on mine its rusted to shit. its like a brake clip/holder/shoe...

anyone know the name of this part/where to buy a new set from?

Do you have a pic as could be a number of things, brake pad indicator, brake pad metal shims, brake pad clip, etc..

Below is an exploded view of the H6 rear caliper setup.

It looks like 12, they sandwich the brake pads.

They're just the shims. Wouldn't worry too much, replace them next time you do pads.
