BC BR v K-Sport

So finally getting around to adding some bling and was wondering which of the cheaper coilovers have the best rep.
This is not intended as a track day update as I doubt the car will see any more than a couple of runs on a circuit.
Intended for looks and better handling.
Initially I spoke to a shop about BC BR's but they have come back and recommended the K-Sports instead.
Have scanned the forums but a lot of the K-Sport feedback is a few years old so was wondering if anyone was still running them.
I've thought of shocks and springs but it needs to be exact as I'm a fussy b'stard! Hence the coilovers..
Any thought's ?

Did this shop give you a quote on the BC-BR's at all?

Also the BC-BR's have been used heaps by people on these forums.

Hi mate,
I haven't had any personal experience with K-sport but I can certainly vouch for BC BR series c/overs, i ve had them in my car for around a year now and couldn't be happier, its by far the best mod i've done to my car.
Regarding k-sport i also looked into these before i purchased my BC's however i read a LOT of mixed reviews whereas the BC's were almost all positive.
What sort of price are the k-sports?
I paid around $1200 for my BC's (installed them myself)
Personally i would look no further than BC BR series!!

spec wise they look very similar..

Another vote for BC BRs - I cannot compare them to any other coilover, however the transformation, in both looks and handling to my wagon was worth every cent.

really? I've had K-Sport coilovers on my lib for the past 5 years, haven't missed a beat. No track days but plenty of high speed country driving with the WA lib group

Really. I had a set on my VW (previous car). They rode horribly and were noisy as all getout. I was happy to get rid of them for less than half what I paid for them - I replaced them with Bilstein PSS9s (that also had issues, with the rear springs binding horribly), before I was finally satisfied with KW v2s.
