I have had these for a few months now, only got around to trying to fit them today along with a new Whiteline sway bar. Problem is, they dont seem to line up with my sway bar bushing bracket mounting holes, i have a jdm legacy. I bought the brackets from US but i presumed all the 4th gen legacy's would be the same here?

First issue is the bushing brackets are narrower than the AVO mounting holes:



Secondly the stock mounting holes are not even close to lining up:



This picture is with the diff bracket bolt fully torqued up with car on a lift and still a good 6-7mm off, only way to make them fit it seems is to drill out the holes. I cant believe there is such a small difference between the mounting points on jdm vs usdm models, unless i got a badly made set, trying to confirm with AVO if there is more than one variant of these available and if they should actually fit the JDM models, i put on the new Whiteline bar anyway while i was at it, just need to take it easy with the stiffer bar fitted on the weak stock mounts.

Only other options i can see is the EMOTION FUKUOKA brackets, i cant see any other options online. Anyone recommend something better or hear of problems with the AVO mounts before?

There are 2 of the avo brackets, one with 65mm spaced holes and one with 75mm spaced holes

That i did not know or ever see advertised anywhere! are AVO the best mounts available? Seen some EMOTION FUKUOKA ones but the dont secure to the diff mount hole just a thick metal overlay for the stock sway bar mount , ill have to measure the gap on my ones and see what i have. Measure them yourself and carmodsaustralia.com.au can get either size for you if you let them know the hole spacing. Although they only list one of them.

What Zac said - they do come with two different spacing specifications. I'd just drill into it rather than stuff around with new brackets.

Maybe, i wasnt to keen on drilling them, might weaken them a bit and tear at the holes, It might be easier than finding a 65mm set and paying for them and trying to sell my scratched 75mm ones to some guy in US! Il have to see if we have a drill in work that could do a good job, they are pretty thick mounts

They're fine to drill - I bought mine s/h and they were pre-drilled, it's not an issue at all.

The correct AVO part numbers to order for Gen4 Subaru Liberty's are:

• S1104M1HT001T is for MY05-MY09 USDM Subaru's which is 76mm spacing (as per images above)
• S1303G1HT001T is for MY04-MY09 JDM Subaru's (including Australian Domestic Models) which is 68mm spacing

Most places have two listings for this part, one for each part number, but they still neglect to mention who each part is for!

I think they changed at a certain model year rather than a simple US/JDM set.

I bought from tuspeed in VIC and they sent a set that didn't fit so I had to swap them.
