Buying wheels in Japan

Has anyone bought wheels while in Japan and sent them home??

When I go I want to purchase wheels and freight them home.. The main places I will be going that I'll have time to search is Kyoto (Higashiyama ward) and Tokyo (around Shinjuku).

If someone has been there or lives there and can suggest some places I'm all ears. I'm not fussed whether they are brand new or second hand as I will probably have them painted once they arrive home anyway. Ideally, I am looking for Work, BBS, Volk etc..

Cheers.

In all honesty, it would be easier to use a service like import monster because you'll get a better price on shipping plus it's a lot easier than organizing something like sea freight in a foreign country.

Maybe go there, choose what you like and then arrange an importer to do the rest.
Im sure someone like Shane RSK or Michael G88 would have information on this...

You need to visit Super AUTO BACS in Tokyo Bay area, it’s the biggest craziest car shop I’ve ever been to, they has everything from air fresheners to strobe lights to 3 piece wheels and turbo kits for you minivan. had 2 catch 2 differnt trains but it was worth it... good luck japan is mad
