Can someone help explain fiment of rims for me ? Or link me to a good site that explains.
I mean the +35 or + 45 parts.

So my stock rim is +45.. then if i buy a rim with a smaller offset number eg + 35 the wheel will fit closer towards the gaurd ? Is that right or do I have it around the wrong way lol.. :/

I'm pretty sure your OEM wheel is +55, but yeah so if the width is the same, and you wanted to fit a +35 wheel, then it will sit exactly 20mm closer to the guards.

Cheers Sheppo.. thats a pretty useful link. Can someone confrim the stock rim width and offset for me ? I know my tyre size is 215/45R17 I think. Car isnt here at the moment so i cant just go out and check.

Whats everyones opinion on a nice fitment/tyre size for 18x7.5's ? without guard rolling..

Why are you avoiding guard rolling?

Stock height.
I don't plan to lower for some time.. apprentice wage When I do though it will be a strut/spring upgrade, not coils. So say 20-30mm lowering I guess.
Is gaurd rolling expensive ?

Guard rolling isn't that expensive, I think its around $50 a wheel? Correct me if I'm wrong though...

18x7.5 will be fine with 225/40 tyres, 235/40 you may need to guard roll but it'll also be ok. I'm running 18x8 +44 with 225/40 tyres and no guard rolling.

18x7.5 +45 will fit easy with the right tyres.
I've got 18x8 +44 with 225/45 and they fit just nice for me ( not really into the hellaflush thing). But if/when i lower it the guards will need to rolled.
