According to the Subaru service Manual I have, pre face lift 3r's/3rspecb's have R160 VLSD rear diff (viscous).

Thus the cooling fins on the alloy diff cover.
As far as I know, all ADM postFL GT spec.B's have a 3.9 R180 torsen rear diff...
(but please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Yes that is correct but my R180 is also a LSD ... Just don't know what type!!

Posted: Fri May 24, 2013 8:56 pmIf you put your postFL spec B rear on stands and spin a wheel, the other wheel should spin in reverse if torsen LSD. If spinning in same direction someone has stuffed a plated LSD in there
