I have a 08 sedan GTB, and looking on an inside spoke of them rim there is a forging saying 18x7 (I'm assuming that is the rim height n width??)

Now my question is will a 18x8 fit in there and still be able to close the spare wheel lid thingy???

Shit it in. There is about 2 inch of clearance between spare and boot floor.

Why not just buy another the same as what you got?

And i don't buy another one of those rims because the spare rim will not clear my brembos so it's useless as a spare to me

If it clears the rear brembos you can just do a 3 wheel swap

Yeah I think you did but them, and I am undecided whether I will sell the spare or not..

I had an 8.5" with 235/40/18 as my spare matching to my wheels.

Fits in the wheel well no drama's.

If I was to buy a single 18x8 rota gravel rim from the states, will I have any issues through customs getting it in??

Not at all.

On Cruisn's advice, i managed to find a space saver off of a 2003 STI (5x100, clears Brembo's) for $100. Considerably cheaper than a single Rota + tyre, which was the other option I was considering.
