Hi guys

Iv done a brembo conversion on a 08 GTB and going to fit new rear discs (with handbrake shoe of 190mm) and the gtbs are 170mm..

So what can I do here?? Insert a sleeve to reduce the 190mm to 170mm or get new shoes??

Any ideas and where do I get them from??

You can get the stock handbrake shoes refaced by a business in Sydney.

The info is on this site somewhere: http://tinyurl.com/lvf9zmc

Pretty sure crusin did this.

As above, reface linings using thicker friction material.

So just for googles sake...

If you want to modify liberty gen 4 170mm handbrake shoes for 190mm wrx sti rear discs for Brembos as suggested by Hyrax and Cruisn one should take the handbrake shoes to Marion Brake & Clutch at Belmore Sydney NSW .

This is very sticky worthy !

I've also seen companies selling sleeves that fit inside the 190mm discs to reduce them for conversions. Godspeed brakes is one of them that does this. But they're UK based.
