Hey All,
Just wondering what springs everyones ridin on. Ive noticed a few pics of gen iv libertys that dont have a major gap in the front guard, is it just the result of coilovers or is there some extra low springs available for it. Im on king springs at the moment but i want a lower front end.

I've just got the tein springs on Bilstein shocks. Not a fan of coilovers for a street car (unless you get them with helper springs).

Hey Mo, how does your gt sit on those springs? is there a big gap between wheel & guard at the front?

Its been about a year and a half or so since that pic and the car has "settled" a bit and it sits very well.

why dont you like coilovers, like the Teins for the street?
and why would you want helper springs?

Hey Phat,
I don't like coilovers on a street GT mainly due to the ride quality/performance "ratio" if you will. I've tried out the tien flex coilovers (the ones built for Aust -not the Jap ones), adjust them for my idea of a good ride quality and they don't perform well as i like, adjust them to perform as well as i like and the ride is not to my liking. While i haven't had them on with the helpers, they should (in theory - have experimented with HKS coilovers with helpers on another car) make the ride quality more comfy.
The difference in cost was only $20 between my Bil/Tein combo and the Tein Flexs.

Lookin goood Mo, cant tell if it sits lower at the front compared to mine though.
I would've expected more $$$ for teins, did you get em locally?
