Hi guys,

Just trying to improve the brakes and I am thinking of getting braided brake lines for MY05 GT (getting slotted disks and Endless pads as well), want to know if anyone done it to their car already, results, where from and how much?

Cheers,
netrace

Had some braided lines made up and they meet ADR requirements. Was supplied a certificate showing all compliance.

Had new pads and rotors (MRT pads & DBA 4000's) fitted at the same time and all together they made a big difference over the stock set up. More feel, more power, definitely worth it.

I'm curious to know whether the lines will make much difference. I've done rotors and pads already, and wondering if I should do the lines later.

master cylinder brace is a good idea...

if you put braided lines on the weakness becomes the master cylinder flexing too much..

then you only need the braided lines ...and yes they make a difference.

It sounds like youve got it nearly sorted...

Good brake fluid is another must... I'm using ELF at the moment...

Will the braided lines make a noticeable difference on pedal feel in daily driving? Or only when it is nearing boiling point threshold?

IMO ...you have a 90% brake package that is only missing some decent lines to make it 100% effective... youve done all the good things except that last bit... thats providing you want the best brake package.. :?

daily driving you would hardly notice it except the pedal should possibly feel a bit stiffer and not spongy , but that all depends how hard you drive and brake.

Isn't Goodridge ADR compliant? I was under the impression that they are (was reading on one of the forums)...

What Endless pads are you running? I am leaning towards Endless CCA pads myself...

I got the master cylinder brace on order as well, I think every bit counts in terms of improving brake performance, as we all know Liberties did not come with good brakes (non STi one's at least)...
