Car MY07 GT Spec B
Mod: Replaced hollow rear sway bay with a Whiteline BSR39Z (20mm, 2-hole adjustable) Rear Sway bar.

Received the bar two days from the afternoon I ordered it and got the adjustable bar at the same price as the non adjustable. Thanks Mike.

Took about 45 minutes to install.

The result is impressive, any hint of any real understeer is gone and
I have to say I was surprised at how quickly the car turns into a corner now.

The original bars are hollow (on my car anyway) and I could not believe the difference in weight between the two.

For some good articles on sway bars read

From Whiteline read some of the articles on this page. The Rex on rails is worth a read

Had my rear sway fitted today by the Phatty.

All I can say is........... :D :D :D :D :D :D

Took the Phatty 20 mins, in the rain. heheh

Awesome handling now. I didnt expect that much of a difference, but after the first corner! I was amazed.

The stock 1 is light as compared to the whiteline one.

Thanks Phatty, book me in for the fronts now please.

Phil.

Russo,

I couldnt believe it myself.

Cheap but effective mod. The cheap bit is thanks to the Phatt man of coarse.

Before I put in a shopping list with Phat GT, has anyone with the white line sway bars/end links got or looked at kits available to increase the strength in the mounting points on the rear bar to minimise the risk of them snapping as a few mounts have snapped in the US and one here in the land of oz that I know of.

There is around 10 odd cars (including mine) that I am aware of that have had brackets fitted in Australia.
You can get them from AVO in Melbourne for around $120.
