Some of you might already know I'm up for an engine rebuild so funds for that + a few fines inc writing off a car its safe to say i need to watch my spending...

Over about 6months roughly i have managed to make a little progress into the car modification world and i cant get enough of it!!! in the 6months i have purchased a 09 sedan MT GTB with 69000kms and i have had a TBE Xforce 3", new fuel pump, bigger TMIC, Brembo brakes, Tuned ECU and a pretty serious audio install...

but after all that its time to look at the suspension of the car, i dont really want to go over about 5k and i was thinking some new whiteline bushes, sway bars and some sort of coil overs..

My questions are, is the 5k mark suitable for daily driving with the odd flying into a corner driving?? and what parts do i need??

Not really an expert, but some BC BR coilovers with some whiteline sway bars and there will be a dramatic difference

Hey mate. I've got a set of BCBR coilovers in mine with sways, end links, anti lift kits and bushes from white line. No expert either but car handles brilliantly now with the added bonus of height and stiffness adjustability. Probably spent 2.5k all up. Great upgrade.

You need to watch your spending but are about to throw 5k at suspension upgrades?!?!?!?!

A maximum of 5k... And not for a while I just need a list so I can start planning this out finding what I need and how much dosh I need

I just had a look on the whiteline website and searche parts for my 08 GTB, and heaps of stuff come up and this is where I need a little help on what I need

BSF30Z - blade adjustable front swaybar
W0406-22 - bushes for front swaybar
BSR39Z - blade adjustable rear swaybar
W0406-20 - bushes for rear swaybar
KCA334 - anti lift kit (replaces your shot old bushes)
KCA313 - bump steer kit

Look at AVO or Cusco for HD mounts for your swaybars. No experience with coilovers (you can go budget; BC or KiDo), maybe someone else will chime in

I just did a quick calc of this items and it comes to 750 not inc postage...

If that's all I need then surly I can pick up some coils for 3-4k

Cusco coils maybe? Check out their website for pricing

Don't spend 3-4 k on coilovers if you aren't going to track the car. It's pretty much for the wank factor. Consider your needs first before you fork out that much

get the whiteline parts listed above, BCBR coilovers, and strut braces front and rear.

Also good tyres.
