Hi all,

Wondering if anyone had any problems fitting one of these to their 4GEN? Opened the packaging and had a good look at where to install, all looked sweet, but then when I started, I found when I went to put the rear most M8 bolt in (into the strut tower) there was no thread there (note, nothing installed in the hole previously, car is pre-facelift 3.0R-B).

Well, what a pain in the butt. Firstly because of where you have to get to, and secondly because the nut isn't included. Was there a 4GEN variant that had something bolted there?

Ive fitted a few on different models and they all have that hole and require a bolt and nut. Pain of a spot, but not too difficult to access.

Pretty sure mine came with the bolt and nut. Just remove the little sticker covering the hole then reach up through the wheel arch. Easier when that corner of the car is jacked up so you have more tyre gap.
