Good tyre shops/wheel fitment in Sydney

Postby alessandro132 » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:57 pm

Bought freshly repainted XT7s with separate rubber and will need to fit the tyres and then the wheel/tyre package onto my car.

Where's a good place in Sydney that won't scratch my wheels putting tyres on, or fuck my blue Work lug nuts by rattling them on? Torque wrench would be perfect. I've heard the best way to avoid stripping colour off coloured lug nuts is to use painters tape on them, or even wrapping a plastic bag on them when using the torque wrench.

Shano suggested Jax Liverpool but I have been burnt by them earlier this year with a wheel alignment so won't be going back. Any suggestions would be ace. Money isn't really an issue - I don't mind paying top dollar for good service.

I was recommended Jax Liverpool from Phat and personally have not had any problems there, just make sure you specifically tell them to use a torque wrench - ask for Kieran.

Apart from that, I've had great service from ABC Tyrepower in Rosebery, ask for Chris - top bloke and a very friendly and helpful workshop.
