Here are the manuals supplied with Ohlins DFV Road & Track coilovers for the Subaru Legacy Ohlins part# SUS MI00. This model claims to fit BP5 and BH5, so will also fit BL and BE models too.

It says to use a screw driver to hold the shaft while you tighten the rear top nut but damn it's hard to hold the screw driver there. A long flat piece of metal that you can hold sideways across the groove would be way better.
